Australian‑made sliding‑door tracks and rollers engineered for demanding environments – from implement sheds and aircraft hangars to industrial warehouses. The Eltrak range supports door loads from 200 kg right up to 650 kg, delivering smooth, reliable performance in tough conditions.

  • 120 kg Director Series – compact top‑hung system for smaller farm or light‑industrial doors
  • 200 kg EM Series – popular all‑rounder for sheds, garages and access doors
  • 450 kg Hercules Series – medium‑duty solution for larger warehouses and workshops
  • 650 kg Titan Series – heavy‑duty track & five‑wheel carriages for aircraft‑hangar or extra‑wide openings
  • Special options: curved track, bottom‑mount kits, round‑corner hardware and steel‑door‑frame systems
  • Cold‑formed galvanised steel tracks in three stock lengths, with custom sizes available up to 8 m
  • Precision‑machined roller carriages (nylon‑tyre or steel‑wheel) for low‑friction movement
  • Side‑thrust and five‑wheel options ensure optimum weight distribution on very wide panels
  • Complete kits include track, carriages, stops, guides and purpose‑designed support brackets
  • Agricultural implement‑shed doors
  • Industrial warehouse or factory access
  • Aircraft‑hangar doors
  • Truck / semi‑trailer sliding gates
  • Mobile equipment enclosures & retrofit projects
  • Select rollers that exceed actual door weight to maximise service life
  • Provide continuous, rigid support for the track – avoid track deflection
  • Do not grease the track; dust‑laden grease forms an abrasive paste
  • Never weld directly to the track – always use genuine Eltrak support brackets
  • Inspect rollers and tracks periodically and clear debris from the run‑way

Field‑proven capacities:

  • 120 kg – domestic shed / very light‑industrial doors
  • 200 kg – standard agricultural / light‑industrial doors
  • 450 kg – mid‑weight commercial or warehouse doors
  • 650 kg – heavy‑duty installations where maximum strength is essential

Load capacities are field-tested and proven across thousands of demanding agricultural and industrial installations nationwide over decades. For specific compliance documentation or architectural project specifications, please contact our technical trade team.

Eltrak tracks and rollers should be installed with matching support brackets to ensure warranty compliance and long‑term reliability. For custom lengths or help specifying a system, contact Elraco’s technical team.

⚠️ Important Maintenance Warning: Why You Should Never Grease Sliding Door Tracks

It is a natural instinct when a heavy sliding door starts to squeak or feel stiff: you grab a can of grease or a spray lubricant and apply it generously to the rollers and tracking. However, when it comes to industrial sliding door hardware, lubrication is the fastest way to destroy your system.

The “Abrasive Paste” Effect

Unlike enclosed automotive components, sliding door tracks operate in open, exposed environments. Whether installed on an agricultural farm shed, a regional workshop, or a coastal commercial warehouse, the air is constantly filled with fine dust, grit, and sand.

When you apply grease to a roller carriage or tracking channel, you create a highly sticky trap:

  • The Trap: Airborne dust and sand particles settle directly into the wet grease.
  • The Chemical Reaction: As the heavy door rolls back and forth, it compresses the grit into the lubricant.
  • The Result: Within weeks, the smooth grease transforms into a thick, dark, abrasive grinding paste that acts exactly like industrial lapping compound.
What the Image Shows: The image abbove highlights exactly what not to do. Notice how airborne grit quickly binds to the sticky lubricant, creating a layer of destructive, abrasive sludge.

The Structural Damage

Once this abrasive paste forms, every single movement of the door actively grinds down your hardware hardware assets:

  1. Ruined Profiles: It strips the protective zinc coating off your galvanized steel tracks, leaving them vulnerable to rust.
  2. Flat Spots on Rollers: It acts like sandpaper against polymer or nylon-tyred wheels, grinding flat spots into them until they stop rolling entirely.
  3. Seized Bearings: The grit eventually forces its way past the bearing seals, seizing the internal mechanics of your high-capacity carriages.
  4. How to Correctly Clean Your Eltrak Hardware

Genuine Eltrak sliding door systems are precision-engineered to run completely dry. The high-grade nylon polymers and steel wheels do not require external lubrication to improve performance.

If your doors are operating roughly, don’t lubricate them—clean them. Use a blast of compressed air to clear out loose dirt from inside the tracking channel, and wipe down the running profiles with a clean, dry rag. Keeping the track clear of dry debris is all it takes to guarantee decades of smooth, reliable service.
